Shopping!
Today we got to go grocery shopping! For those who do not know, we had the goal of raising $4,000 to cover the cost of food for the 48 kids for one month... And we raised $6,000!!!
With that we were also able to cover the cost of diapers for a month. This is amazing. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen!!! I cannot thank you enough.
The kids were each given a portion of the shopping list to track down. It was a great Spanish lesson
At the end of our shopping trip, we spotted a few tricycles and bicycles that would be appropriate for some of the more mobile residents, so our kids all chipped in to buy them... I'm so impressed! This is a very generous group :-)
